Almost a decade ago, in simple community-built structures, Atanansi Junior School and its dedicated teachers brought hope and inspired the first students.
Today the school is anchored around a two attractive classroom buildings built on solid cement foundations, enclosed by plastered and painted brick walls, and topped by soaring cathedral metal roofs. Solar-generated and electric power is available when needed.
Spacious classrooms overflow with students, tables, benches, blackboards and dedicated teachers!

Atanasi provides food for the body as well as the mind - maize meal porridge for all every day - by a dedicated crew that chops wood, stokes fires, and stirs cauldrons of maize simmering over open flames
